Sharing Saturdays

Clothing Distribution and Community Outreach

Grace Lutheran hosts a free community clothing distribution on the second Saturday of every month from 10am-12pm.  In addition to clothing, you can grab a cup of coffee and light breakfast/lunch. This distribution is open to anyone in need, but NO re-sellers, please.  We have a wide (and changing) variety of clothing available for men, women, and children. Enjoy a cup of coffee and some provided snacks while you “shop” our selections! We’d love to meet you and assist you in finding what you need. 

 

Donations

In-season clothing donations for this event are accepted as our storage space allows. If you have new or gently used clothing you would like to donate, please contact the church office to ensure we have room to accommodate it at that time.

Prison Ministry

Our prison ministry in is partnership with the Chaplain at the Hays County Jail. 

We have also provided Bibles to Willacy County and Comal County, and Guadalupe County Jails.

Our goal is to deliver 200+ Bibles and/or other devotional materials to local jails throughout the year. 

 

 

 

Helping our Neighbors

The Outreach Board was happy to help the San Marcos Senior Center by purchasing carts to help with loading food party items into their vehicles. 

Noisy Collection

Each month, a special collection is taken up for various organizations. Save your extra change to make some noise when you drop it in the labeled tin cans as you come into the sanctuary for worship!
